Talent Search through 'Hello Kolkata Short-Scope'


   'Hello Kolkata' (3D News-Media & Films) had recently presented‘Hello Kolkata SHORT-SCOPE’-- its 13th Short Films’ Festival on 10th June eve at the iconic Birla Planetarium, Kolkata.


 'Hello Kolkata's Short Films’ Festival, now in its 13th year, is actually a platform to showcase the budding potential of new-comers. We will also select the best talents amongst them for our upcoming 4th feature film--  "GAME ON", informed Asish Basak, Film-Maker & Editor-Director, Hello Kolkata.

    On 10th June, 3 wonderful Short Films, selected from 19 films, ranging from 2 till 21 minutes, on different topics of socio-cultural interests were screened, informed noted designer Annie Jain, one of the significant Jury Panelists of 'Hello Kolkata Short-Scope'.

     The screened short films are 'MAA' and 'Left Overs' (both by award-winning film-maker Rajat Tallukdar) and 'Black Rose' (silent film by writer & record-holder Reetwika Banerjee). The special screening of 'Hello Kolkata Short-Scope' included the musical 'VOTE GEETI, directed by Asish Basak, that upholds the fact that Elections are an inseparable part of our life and civil society.



  The next rounds of screening for 'Hello Kolkata Short-Scope' will happen on 30th June at Bangur Kolokakuli, A total of 12 films will be screened in this 13th edition of Short Films Fest, selected from about 50-odd films.

      The novel concepts and interlinked social messages made this ‘Hello Kolkata’ endeavour an entertaining yet informative presentation, remarked talented model, actress & educationistMs. Arpita Bose, one of the Special Guests for the show.

'LIT FIESTA 2019' 2nd Edition

Kolkata witnessed the 2nd edition of the grandeur event of distinction and matchless magnitude on 9th June 2019, Sunday evening, depicting an imprint of extended celebration.
Lit Fiesta 2019 (2nd edition) was organized at Rabindranath Tagore centre ,India council for cultural relations , kolkata by Dr. Rajdeep Chowdhury , Academician and Author.



Lit Fiesta 2019 continues from where it left of in October, 2018. And ensures to be Exclusive and one of its kind as it ensured an amalgamation of Academicians, Authors, Bureaucrats , Musicians, Students, Verifiers, etc. The event was also concoction of cultural creativity, book Launch, invited Lecture and poetry Reading.

For the Woman fraternity of the world, an international Anthology of assorted poems ‘World of Woman’ , Edited by Dr. Rajdeep Chowdhury was released with the intent of emphasizing the significance of the efforts by innumerable woman in diverse.

"Credai Bengal in association with ACAE Chartered Accountant’s Study Circle-EIRC Conducted Real Estate Conclave” "


ACAE Chartered of Accountants’ Study Circle- EIRC organised the 5th version of Real Estate Conclave on the ‘Navigating the undercurrents’ at the Lalit Great Eastern on 8th June. The Conclave was organised with CREDA Bengal as Technical partner and JLL, India as knowledge partner. The conclave was very attended with more than 250 delegates. 
CA Vasudeo Agarwal, President of Association of Corporate Advisors & Executives , welcome the delegates and apprised the audience of activities of the Association and its circle. Chief Guest and Keynote speaker Shri Debashis Sen, IAS Chief secretary, Government of West Bengal and Chairman cum managing Director, WBHIDCO Ltd.. Inaugurated the conclave and assured Real Estate Promoters 8 developers of the department in various areas of concern. He also spoke on challenges in real estate industries and support being given by government.
CA Sumant Batra ,from New Delhi Explained various critical issues. Second one Shri Juggy Marwaha , Executive managing Director , JLL India spoke on investing and wealth building in Real Estate Sector.
CREDAI Bengal is a Bengal chapter of confederation of Real Estate. In comprises chapters in west bengal With More than 350 Members.

'Rabindra Jayanti-2019" at  Bhubaneswar'




 Even the divesting cyclone "Fani" could not stop the "Rabindra Anuragis" of Pragati (a leading Cultural Organisation in Odisha) from celebrating 158th "Rabindra Jayanti", in collaboration with Cultural Dept, Govt of Odisha, on 2nd June at Rabindramadap, Bhubaneswar.  Mr. Swarup Das (Retd. Income Tax Commissioner) graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

   The program started at 7 pm with garlanding of the statue of "Kabiguru" and lighting "Mangal deep".  After that, a select few dignitaries spoke on Gurudeb and on his immortal creations.  This was soon followed by an in-house cultural program which included Rabindra Sangeet (Bengali, Oriya and Hindi) performed by Dalia Rez, Sujata Patnaik,  Anuprova Banerjee, Jayanto Chakraborty, Debashis Roy, Manasweta Rez and others. 

    Next up, was a series of high voltage recitation by Radha Bose, Dr. Sajalendu Malakar and Parimal Malakar, and then a group dance by the junior members and finally a dance drama "Samanya Khyati" well directed by Priya Sengupta and Mousami Chakraborty.

      Maitreyee Naha played a key role as an anchor of the entire event while Sudhansu Marik (Club Secretary) together with Rupa Marik, well supported by Sourav Biswas and Shantanu Rez, worked very hard to give the show a perfect shape.

'Festival of Pabitra Eid Milan'








'Daffodil Incorporate' and 'Hello Kolkata' presented 'EID MILAN Utsav'

  The program focus was launch of poster of 'SIXER.......'. an AV album on the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup, presented by Rudra Sen ('Daffodil Incorporate'), featuring lead singer Jhumki Sen and concept & direction is by Asish Basak, 'Hello Kolkata'.

  'Anandashree 2019' Awards (for Socio-Cultural Excellence) were presented by an NGO to such great achievers like Dr. Rudrarup Gupta, Monika Roy, Seba Gupta, Narayan Majumder, Boby Mondal, Parimal  Malakar, Jayashree Khara, Samir Banerjee, Sumon Ganguly, Dr. Ashok Kumar Boler, Supriya Paul, Sonali Pal Chowdhury, Sarmila Maji, Sarbani Roy and Papri Das.

   Special guests for the occasion included Dr. Rumki Gupta, Sarod Baba, Sudip Das, Dr. Saheli Roychowdhury, Puspa Acharjee & her group members of 'GULMOHOR', Ashok Mondal, Manisha Bhattacharya and others.
