The deserving winner was Madhusmita Sasmal ('Jagannath Special') and joint runner-ups were Sweta Srivastava ('Kaddu Ki Barfi') and Madhumita Ghosh ('Radhaballavi').
Other contestants who presented delicious dishes of various items were Chandana Das, Madhuri Mahato, Pinki Bose, Monalisa Chakraborty, Queen Kumari, Sushmita Pramanik, Sanjana Kukunur, Saswati Bose and Smita Chakraborty.
The Jury Members were Magician Somnath, Atun and Sukanya Roy.
Magician Somnath also put up a scintillating magic show after the cooking contest to regale the audience, comprising of all ages.

Asish Basak, Editor-Director, 'Hello Kolkata' remarked that 'Rathaytra Utsav at Newtown Sukhobrishti' is a perfect setting for such a cooking contest. He appealed to the eager ladies to start an extension of 'Hello Kolkata Ladies Club' at Newtown Shukhobrishti, so that such socio-cultural activities are regularly taken care of.
