Soaps Can Be Harsh on Pimples!
Switch to the Right Soap-Free Solution!
Did you know that soaps can increase pimples?
Though soaps help remove dead skin cells, dirt, oil, and sweat from the face, they can damage the skin in the process.
Soaps can do more harm than good to your skin. They tend to be harsh on the
skin, leaving it irritated and inflamed, and prone to pimples. It is essential to use the
right skin cleansing products to tackle the problem of pimples.
According to Ms. Nivriti Sweta, Research Scientist, R& D Center, The Himalaya
Drug Company,
“Facial skin is softer and much more sensitive than the rest of the
body. Ordinary toilet soaps have a far higher pH that robs the skin of its natural oils,
which can lead to dryness.
Face washes usually have a pH range of 5.5-6.5 (closer
to skin’s normal pH of 4.5-6.5), which makes them effective for the skin. The mild
and gentle formula of a face wash helps cleanse the face effectively and
reduce pimples. Unlike soaps that strip away the natural layer of oil from our face
and disturb the pH balance of facial skin, soap-free face washes cleanse effectively
without being harsh on the skin.”
Choosing the right face cleanser is the first step to help your skin look and feel
heathier. Soaps can make facial skin dry by disturbing the skin’s natural barrier-
layer, which protects it from the harsh effects of the environment, infections, and
other common skin problems. This dryness, thereby, can lead to overactive
sebaceous glands and makes the skin a perfect breeding ground for pimple-causing
bacteria. Neem is an excellent skin care ingredient known for its antibacterial
properties that help fight pimple-causing bacteria. It helps prevent the recurrence of
pimples and breakouts. Turmeric is known to have strong anti-inflammatory
properties that soothe your skin. Consider using a soap-free face wash such as
Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash with the goodness of natural ingredients like
Neem and Turmeric to help keep pimple problems at bay.
Since facial skin is sensitive, it is advisable to use a face wash instead of a soap to
keep your skin free from pimples and blemishes. You can help prevent breakouts by
simply choosing a face wash that is soap free and contains the goodness of Neem.
Cleanse and care for your pimple-prone skin the right way by following a proper skin
care regimen. In case the breakouts don’t subside, it is best to consult a
dermatologist.
PS: Soaps here refer to ordinary toilet soaps.

This short film-‘CCB’  traces the journey when 'Hello Kolkata' Film Unit was rushing off on a long drive to reach shooting spot at Digha for an early morning take. Some important bags were being left back, along with important actors who fumed at being stranded on road in heat & dust.

Our film 'CCBCO's 2nd part is  'CAMERA ON'    - (Thriller) -  (Duration- 70 minutes)
This short film starts with the story of ‘Jawhar-Vrata’ where Rajput women sacrificed themselves by setting themselves on fire before they face the shame of losing their dignity.  The scenes of this docu-film, esp. the burning scenes, haunts one of the unit members of the film, an actress who has a troubled past. The actress had also inherited riches.    The actress had a ‘virtual friend’, whom she had found on FB. They have never met but she has started to depend on him & seeks his suggestions on various matters including work.
The film production unit is run by a strict disciplinarian Film-Maker.  The actress makes some mistakes due to her tense situation and this creates a rift in the unit. There is lots of confusion, fights and even grave injuries.   But before the murder,  the culprit is ultimately found as the ‘CAMERA was ON’.
Within the film, there will be scenes of LIVE Shooting of film workshop, event coverage like Modeling shows, Cultural programs, Award ceremonies, snippets of Durga Puja, Diwali etc.

North-East Indian rural ambience is the focal theme of Sarswati Puja 2019 of 'Thanthania Yubak Sangha

'
.
Located about 200 metres from the busy College Street-MG Road intersection in Central Calcutta, this 90 years-old Saraswati Puja is a landmark event of the locality.
It is continuing with great fanfare since 1932, having started by Jaiswal Sangha. Since 1980, the club - 'Thanthania Yubak Sangha' has taken over the responsibilities of this happening Puja.
For the very first time, after almost 90 years, this Sarswati Puja has adopted a theme, thanks to writer and film-maker Asish Basak
The small market area will have a brand new look and stunning formation for four days, 8th till 11th February during Saraswati Puja celebrations, presented by Thanthania Yubak Sangha.
A  23 ft. high pointed structure, with unfinished edges on top & the symbolic slanting roof, will house the benign Goddess of LearningThe materials used are bamboos, thermocol, fibre, clay, etc.
The small lane will be decorated with various figurines and artifacts that bear the stamp of Nagas, Mizos and Lepchas and their mystic Art & Culture.
During last few Durga Puja and Kali Puja, Asish Basak has done North-East Indian touch projects like 'Nagaland in Nagerbazar',  'M-Factor' at Baranagar, 'Chalte Chalte' at Patuatola. This time Asish Basak has envisioned a rural ambience, with telling impact of mixture of Nagas, Mizos and Lepchas.
Elaborating more on this ideation, Asish Basak stated that he got this idea of focussing on North-East culture first when he was doing research for his documentary film and book-'Lesser Known Religions in India'. At that juncture, he realized that many people in cosmopolitan Kolkata have very less knowledge about North-Eastern states of India or tribal religion, their customs, art & culture, etc. Hence, he thought Puja theme will be an ideal mass-connect platform to showcase the rich vein of heritage of such exotic places.

"We are very excited to present a Theme Puja for the 1st time in our glorious history of this Sabeki Puja of about 90 years old. We have high hopes that 'Theme Partner' Hello Kolkata will make this an unforgettable occasion for all of us," informed Rajesh Jaiswal (Convenor) and Dilip Shaw (Treasurer).
Ramesh Thakur Jaiswal (Gen. Secretary), Jawaharlal Jaiswal (President), Manoj Jaiswal (Joint Secy.) and other enthusiastic members of Thanthania Yubak Sangha are waiting with bated breath for the.inauguration on 8th Feb. eve, which will be done by a host of dignitaries, including several political heavyweights.
