‘Chalte Chalte Bindass- Camera ON’ has 2 parts.

The first part of CCBCO is 'Chalte Chalte Bindass'     (Duration- 45 minutes)

It is almost a LIVE action shooting.  The film portrays reactions of actors almost as original as possible.
This short film-‘CCB’  traces the journey when 'Hello Kolkata' Film Unit was rushing off on a long drive to reach shooting spot at Digha for an early morning take. Some important bags were being left back, along with important actors who fumed at being stranded on road in heat & dust.
On road, the producer's car broke down, evoking more heat & frustration for the crew members.
To pass time, they even had  Antakshari & took Auditions at a local Park.
And, all this time, 'CHALTE CHALTE BINDASS',  the Camera-Man had kept his CAMERA On..... ..taking up footage of everything that was happening.
Thus the film-‘CCB’ is made---- ONE-TAKE.........UN-CUT.

Our film 'CCBCO's 2nd part is  'CAMERA ON'    - (Thriller) -  (Duration- 70 minutes)
This short film starts with the story of ‘Jawhar-Vrata’ where Rajput women sacrificed themselves by setting themselves on fire before they face the shame of losing their dignity.  The scenes of this docu-film, esp. the burning scenes, haunts one of the unit members of the film, an actress who has a troubled past. The actress had also inherited riches.    The actress had a ‘virtual friend’, whom she had found on FB. They have never met but she has started to depend on him & seeks his suggestions on various matters including work.
The film production unit is run by a strict disciplinarian Film-Maker.  The actress makes some mistakes due to her tense situation and this creates a rift in the unit. There is lots of confusion, fights and even grave injuries.   But before the murder,  the culprit is ultimately found as the ‘CAMERA was ON’.
Within the film, there will be scenes of LIVE Shooting of film workshop, event coverage like Modeling shows, Cultural programs, Award ceremonies, snippets of Durga Puja, Diwali etc.
